Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using Onak.lk or purchasing products from Sunglow Enterprises (Pvt) Ltd. By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to these terms.

1. About Onak.lk

Onak.lk is the online shopping platform of Sunglow Enterprises (Pvt) Ltd for electronics, home appliances and related products in Sri Lanka.

2. Eligibility

By placing an order you confirm that you are legally capable of entering into a binding contract under the laws of Sri Lanka and that all information you provide is true and complete.

3. Accounts and security

If you create an account on Onak.lk, you are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account. Please notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. Products, descriptions and pricing

  • We aim to display product information, images and prices accurately. Minor variations may occur.
  • Prices are shown in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) unless otherwise stated and may change without prior notice.
  • We reserve the right to correct pricing or description errors and to cancel orders affected by such errors.
  • Stock availability is not guaranteed until an order is confirmed.

5. Orders

An order submitted on Onak.lk is an offer to buy. Acceptance occurs when we confirm the order by email/SMS/WhatsApp or when payment is successfully processed and we begin fulfilment.

We may refuse or cancel an order due to stock issues, pricing errors, suspected fraud, payment failure or incomplete customer details.

6. Payment

Online payments may be processed through PayHere or other payment methods enabled on Onak.lk (including cards, bank transfer or cash-on-delivery where available). Card details are handled by the payment gateway — we do not store full card numbers on our systems.

  • Orders paid online are typically confirmed after successful payment authorization.
  • For cash-on-delivery (if offered), payment is due on delivery as instructed by our team.
  • You confirm that you are authorized to use the selected payment method.

7. Delivery and shipping

  • We deliver within Sri Lanka to the address provided at checkout, subject to serviceable areas.
  • Estimated delivery times are indicative and may vary due to stock, location, courier delays or force majeure.
  • Please ensure someone is available to receive the order and inspect packaging on delivery.
  • Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery to the stated address (or collection from our showroom/warehouse if arranged).
  • Delivery charges, if any, will be shown at checkout or confirmed by our team before dispatch.

8. Returns and refunds

Returns, replacements and refunds are governed by our Return & Refund Policy. By shopping on Onak.lk you also agree to that policy.

9. Warranty and after-sales

Manufacturer or brand warranty terms (where applicable) apply as stated on the product, warranty card or listing. Warranty typically covers manufacturing defects under normal use and excludes damage from misuse, unauthorized repair, power surge (unless covered), accidents or consumables.

10. Intellectual property

All content on Onak.lk and related Sunglow websites — including logos, text, images and design — is owned by Sunglow Enterprises (Pvt) Ltd or its licensors and may not be copied or used without prior written permission, except for personal non-commercial viewing.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Sri Lankan law, Sunglow Enterprises (Pvt) Ltd is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from use of Onak.lk or purchased products, except where liability cannot be excluded by law. Our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount paid for that order.

12. Governing law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections.
